Repair and Calibration FAQ

How much will my repair cost?

Some service centers will provide you with a sight un-sceen estimate over the phone. Let's say your car stops running or did not run well, would a technician give you an estimate over the telephone without even inspecting the vehicle? So why settle for an inaccurate estimate for your tool just to pay more once they receive and diagnose it? There are many components that could affect the performance of your tool. This is why we do not charge an estimate fee, minimum repair charge or a flat rate. You only pay for the repair services you need!

Does R & R actually perform the repair?

All repairs are performed in house by our trained technicians.

Do you charge an estimate fee?

All estimates are free of charge and based on actual repair services needed.

How long until I receive my tool back?

Most tools are inspected same day as received. Once the problem has been identified, you will be notified with your free estimate. If you approve the estimate, repairs are usually completed and shipped within five days.

Do you always notify the customer with an estimate? Or do you automatically perform the repair?

Repairs are only performed when you approve your estimate.

Can I provide you with a maximum repair amount for immediate approval?

Yes, when you complete the online Repair/Calibration Form, just enter the dollar amount you are willing to approve.

How and where do I ship the tool?

No problem. You will not be charged any fees. If you choose to have the tool returned to you, you will only be responsible for return shipping and the tool will be returned disassembled due to possible safety issues.

How do I pay if I approve the repair?

You may enter this information on the online Repair/Calibration Form or we will call you for payment before your repair is shipped.
